Originally posted on the strackt devlog in May 2024, during the early build. Brought over so the whole journey lives in one place.

Amid chaos, I found my sanctuary through the development of strackt.io. Here, in the world of coding, I not only forge a tool that enhances my professional skills but also stumble upon moments of unexpected tranquility.

It's a challenge to find to time to work on Strackt.io, but it's also a gift once I get to it. For me this project serves several goals: I really believe in Strackt as a product, but I can also use the development as a great way to relax. And somehow, some way it's still hard to find the time 😇

  • Smaller goals

  • Better planning and scoping

  • Combining my learnings with my own homelab

Working on strackt has become more than just building a product; it's about sculpting a space where I can thrive amidst the pressures of daily life. It teaches me that in the rhythm of code, I can find peace, and in the challenges of development, I can find growth. For anyone seeking solace in their professional journey, I suggest finding that one project that challenges you to grow and helps you unwind.
