Out of focus

Originally posted on the strackt devlog in May 2023, during the early build. Brought over so the whole journey lives in one place.

I really love working on Strackt, but my focus has been completely off. Not a real bad thing, these things happen sometimes, but pretty frustrating non the less.

In my experience, lacking focus can really slow down my progress. When I don’t have a clear enough goal or objective in mind, it’s easy to get sidetracked by other tasks or lose motivation altogether. This can lead to a decrease in productivity and make it harder for me to achieve the desired outcomes. Additionally, when I struggle to stay focused, I find it challenging to prioritize my time and energy effectively, which can further impede my progress. Ultimately, I’ve learned that staying committed and focused on my goals is critical to making steady and meaningful progress over time.

What to do know? Well, all of my current distractions are still very usefull - so i'll indulge them a little longer. But, I have put daily time in my schedule to narrow down the goal, objectives and required steps for Strackt...

What got done

• Learned basic blind typing ⌨️

• Fell in love all over again with Italy 🍷🍕

• Learning Italian 🇮🇹

• Exploring Raycast, ChatGPT, AI and all the other options to automate my new 10 finger typing life 🤖
