Small steps lead the way

Originally posted on the strackt devlog in November 2022, during the early build. Brought over so the whole journey lives in one place.

Small chunks of time also allow for small steps of progress. Getting back into the enjoyment of development, I find these things very satisfying.

I've been reading up on all kinds of background information and best practices, but didn't get to implementing them. Starting to chop them up into bite size pieces helps me make time and book some progress. It's still very yolo and unstructured, but at least we're getting somewhere again.

The last week or so has been about improving the event bus and implementing realtime frontend updates. The advantages of work like this is that it also shows me the result directly while working with and testing the product.
