The early devlog lives here now

strackt didn't start on strackt.io. It started in 2021 as a devlog on projectstrackt.dev — a month-by-month record of building a managed server platform on my own, from the first idea to the first working pieces.

That devlog has been sitting on its own domain ever since. It's part of the story, and it deserves a permanent home next to everything else — not a separate site slowly drifting out of date.

What moved

Every devlog entry and monthly recap from 2021 through 2024 is now here in The Log, under its own category: Origins. Same words, same dates, kept as they were written — early naming, rough edges, and all. They're tagged separately so it's always clear these came from the original projectstrackt.dev log.

Old links still work

If you ever linked to a post on projectstrackt.dev, that link keeps working. Every old URL now forwards here permanently — nothing for you to update.

Why bother

Completeness. The full record of how strackt got built should live in one place, properly kept, where it's easy to find and won't rot on a domain nobody maintains.
