I'm trying to cultivate a new habit: dedicating at least half an hour to an hour each day to development.
Each day comes with its barrage of tasks and challenges, often leaving little room for respite.
Sometimes it's extra frustrating to keep things mulling in your head and not be able to act on it
When the focus is gone, progress is painfully slow
UUIDs are safer than using regular numeric IDs because they are not easy to spoof.
Since Strackt is a full SPA and API-driven application, passing data around needs to be extremely structured; enter the Data Transfer Object.
So starts the journey of containerizing Strackt. As always the basics are simple, but getting it to a production-grade level with enough rigor to not get in the way is where things get trickier.
Working quite a bit on the feedback loop. Events systems are working better and better and it shows in the implementation speed of new features, but also in the progression of the UI
Small chunks of time also allow for small steps of progress
It has been more than 9 months since my last update, it itches and I need to force my calendar to make more time for it.
